Two-Phase Treatment

Two-phase orthodontic treatment is primarily for children and combines dental bite adjustments with tooth straightening. This treatment aims to accomplish a healthy, aesthetic, and functional result that’s stable throughout your child’s life.

Phase One 

Phase one focuses on jaw development, ensuring the jaws fit together correctly and can accommodate permanent teeth. Phase one is known as “early interceptive treatment” and can include space maintainers, specialized retainers, headgear, expansion or functional appliances, or limited-phase braces. 

Phase Two

Phase two ensures the teeth are in their precise locations and in harmony with the lips, cheeks, and tongue. Phase two commonly includes upper and lower braces on all teeth.
